We would like to invite your family and/or business to participate in Touch a Heart Foundation’s Adopt-A-Family/ Day Care Center program this holiday season. We are getting an early start this year as SPA DAY IS NOVEMBER 14, 2011.
Touch A Heart is a non-profit foundation 501(c)(3)(20-1063630) dedicated to raising much needed funds to enhance the lives of less fortunate children in the South Florida tri-county area through various agencies such as Family Central, Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center, Catholic Charities, Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County, the American Heart Association, Childnet, Jewish Family Serivces, Childrens Home Society, Chai Lifeline, Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies of Broward County and Angel’s Pediatric Heart House.
We would like to thank you in advance for your support in helping us enrich the lives of needy children throughout the year. Because of generous people like you, we were able to adopt over 100 families and 6 day care centers/group homes this past holiday season. (This was double the amount from the previous year). We purchased, wrapped, and delivered over 1000 gifts as well as provided assistance for holiday meals for each of the families.
All of our “adopted” families and daycare centers personally receive holiday meals and gifts delivered by their sponsoring family, company employees, or by our Touch A Heart volunteers. Shopping, wrapping and delivering gifts, meals and gift certificates to families who otherwise would not be able to experience the joy of the holidays is rewarding for the “adopted” families and centers as well as the sponsoring families and businesses that have participated in this very special program. We are strongly encouraging corporate sponsors as well as individual sponsors this year…adopting a family as a group project and/or having businesses match funds that are raised by employees. Of course, we are most grateful for all donations and we will put all monies received toward helping children and families in need. As you are aware, Touch A Heart is a non-profit foundation, so all donations are tax-deductible.

REMEMBER YOU CAN CHOOSE TO ADOPT THRU A MONETARY DONATION RATHER THAN DOING THE ACTUAL SHOPPING, WRAPPING AND DELIVERING IF YOU PREFER. IN ADDITION, WE CAN SUPPLEMENT YOUR AVAILABLE FUNDS IF YOU CHOOSE TO SHOP, WRAP AND DELIVER.
