Please support our 7th
annual Touch A Heart Foundation Spa Day, scheduled for Monday, November 14,
2011, at Debbie Perlman's house in Southwest Ranches. We will be there
from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., relaxing, shopping, eating, and getting
salon services such as acupuncture, blow-outs, make-up, facials, manicures, pedicures, massages and spray tans from professionals who are all donating their time for this
important cause. In addition, you can enjoy spiritual readings, Reiki
healing, complimentary yoga, and more! Its not necessary to stay the
whole day, so for those of you who work outside the home, you may want to
either take the day off or take a couple of hours off! It's worth it!!!!!
TOUCH A HEART is a
non-profit foundation 501(c)(3)(20-1073630) dedicated to raising much needed
funds to enhance the lives of less fortunate children in the South Florida
tri-county area through various agencies such as Family Central, Children's Home Society, the American Heart Association, Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County, Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center, ChildNet, Jewish Family Services, Chai Lifeline, and more.
For those of you in
business, this is a great gift for a member of your staff. We are also
encouraging members of the business community to adopt a family(s) as a
corporate donation. We will send you the profile of a family in need.
It is not necessary to attend Spa Day to participate in our
"adoption" program. We are also very interested in finding
businesses that are interested in matching funds with our donations made to Spa
Day! We would like to thank you in advance for your support in helping us
enrich the lives of needy children throughout the year.
Because of
generous people like you, we were able to adopt over 100 families as well as several daycare centers and group homes this past holiday season. We purchased, wrapped and
delivered over 1100 gifts as well as provided a holiday meal for each of the families. We
hope that we can increase the number of adopted families again this
year...with your help, we are confidant that we can reach our goal!
